Prove It!
Many of us get caught up when we are accused of violations. Always go into a meeting with a manager with the understanding that you may be one step from being fired—even if you are making a simple suggestion. Let a coworker know. Ask them to be a witness.
If you are accused of violations, never sign anything. Especially without proof. Even if you think you may be wrong. We must let our employer prove that what we did was wrong.
When writing a "Report To Manager," contact a union steward or officer that you trust for a second opinion. It is very easy to write too much and possibly get into trouble you were never in at the first place.
