Rail Car Repairers - Know These Rights!

Some Collective Bargaining Agreement "Contract" facts Rail Car Repairers (and other employees) need to know:

 

1. We are allowed 10 minutes for wash time and filling out reports at the end of our workday.
   
   
2. Article 12.2 We are entitled to a leave of absence “for good cause.” When requesting a Leave of Absence, I recommend using the Report to Manager Form. Write something like:

   On DATE, I am requesting a Leave of Absence for Good Cause as permitted by Article 12.2 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Thank you for your cooperation.
