Do You Work After 8pm? If So, Read This!

Did you know that if you work after 8 pm or finish work after 2 am, you are supposed to be paid more than those who finish work before 8 pm?

Yes, all of you who are PM and Midnight shifts—Bus and Rail—are supposed to make more money than those who work AM shifts.

See Article 4.1 from the Collective Bargaining Agreement ("Contract") and check your paycheck. This is called a "Night Premium" in the Contract. It is also known as "Differential." Although there seems to be no allowance for it regarding Part-Timers (PTBO, CSA, FTTF and Second Chancer) that I can find in Article 3.6, I recommend looking at your payslips and checking the Contract for yourself to confirm.
