What Is A Union?

Managers cut costs to benefit themselves

The job of company management is simple:

Cut company costs by firing workers to earn bonuses and impress other bosses.

The job of the union is simple:

Increase company costs so workers can afford to be healthy, own homes, be safer, invest in their communities and not be harassed by management.

The union has NOTHING in common with the employer.

The union members are not subordinate to the union leadership.

The union leadership has no business making secret deals with the employer.

The union leadership has no business collaborating with, assisting, being assisted by or being present in photos with the employer.

The union has no business DEFENDING the employer.

The union is NOT a business.

The union is an ORGANIZATION OF WORKERS.

All union officials who belittle, berate or help the employer punish members have no place in leadership of the union.

It is the DUTY of the union membership to remove such traitors. It is not the duty of the police, lawyers, the U.S. Government, the employer or some six-digit salaried “International” union boss.

The union members are solely responsible for the union. Having it any other way means that it is not a union.
