Announcement: Campaign 2023

After enduring ongoing violations of members’ Weingarten Rights and lives of coworkers be threatened by CTA management, I decided to pull the trigger and announce an important campaign. 

The campaign a three-fold initiative:

1. To organize the removal of Brother Eric Dixon as president and replace him—if not by me, then someone else who cares about us and is unafraid to defend our interests. 

2. If I fail in having charges of gross neglect bring him down, then my campaign for nomination as Local 308 president will go into full effect. I will be asking members to nominate me as a candidate for Local 308 president—or whatever they think is best. 

3. As our Contract expires in 2023, this campaign will also be a slow-growth Contract Campaign. Should I be elected, my intentions—God-willing—will be to ratchet up a massive effort to help members fight like a real union for the Contract we want. Not a Contract the CTA will accept.
