Incentive Rentention Information (Local 308)

Y'all have been asking me about this thing and my answer is kind of lame: You should see the money sometime in February. Well, here is the nitty-gritty! Maybe it is more than you want to know. However, the Local 308 Vice President Mark was kind enough to oblige my request for it.*

Frankly, it's a lot for my little brain to compute. It looks good, but in my opinion, this was stolen from us two years ago. The greedy CTA mismanagement held on to that Coronavirus Relief money and should have paid it out much earlier.

This is only calculated by hours worked. Not vacation or other paid days off.

It says this "cost the CTA," but that is really none of our concern. Years of concessionary bargaining have cost us a hell of a lot more.

It is basically assuming you worked a certain number of hours, multiplied by a top rate. So find your own current rate, hours and do the math as demonstrated. Don't be grateful. You were owed this money two years ago. It was just part of an alleged scheme between the ATU and the CTA to get the Local 241 president, Keith "The Anointed One" Hill, reelected.

The best way to go about negotiating these kinds of things is with guidance from the membership. Let us decide if we want Pension and Retiree Healthcare Trust deductions. There are many issues about the "bonus" that could have gone by better if members were allowed to participate.

Please share this with coworkers.

*Please pray for the Vice President Mark and Second Vice President Pennie for their egregious sins of assisting me to inform you all. President Dixon, many board members and the "Secretary of Treasure" certainly disapprove of sharing information with an annoying union steward like me. I am only allowed to receive information via telepathy.
