CTA Mismangement At Its Finest

Too many managers in the shop!
By Jack Carter Jr., Undercover CTA Maintenance Worker

Things are getting hot at 567 West Lake Street! City Council is going after Dorval. I bet the big bad bosses are also wondering why the police were called at Kimball Shop to arrest my union rep and why senior workers are getting written up.

Mismanagement at its finest!

Instead of addressing the root of the problem, the incompetent managers continue to attack anyone that doesn't play their games.

The job for Rail Car Repairer itself was always good—and could be even better. But the politics and toxicity in the Shops are at the highest level.

They treat us as if we're all scammers when in reality they are among the biggest scammers of all—making themselves look good for the next promotion off of our backs.

On top of that, why do you need multiple different managers at a shop? Ridiculous!

One competent manager per shift should be more than adequate.

I am done venting—for now.
