Truck Shop: Definitive Tasks

After a few years of conversations and a survey, I have finalized a Contract Proposal item to ensure that Truck Shop will be a protected qualification that CTA mismanagers cannot manipulate. One of the biggest disputes we have as Truck Shop Repairers is what tasks/parts qualify as "Truck Shop" work. 

Special thanks to Brother Chris Campisi (Steward at 98th Shop) for pushing this ahead. I am juggling so many things that I sometimes forget to follow up and get projects to the finished stage. Also special thanks to Brother Emilio for coming up with the additional "incentive pay" rates.

The sections for "incentive pay" were already submitted as a Contract Proposal by me to Brother Mark Weems, First Vice President. Since negotiations are done in secret—and without member participation—there is no accountability and we never know what is going on. 

This is added to Section 1.0.1 of Attachment C ("Excel").

The proposed changes have been put in the unofficial Worker's Contract. This is a multi-year project I have edited since 2020 for the Chicago Transit Justice Coalition.
