Disappearing Contract Books

The Contract Books at Des Plaines Shop, Harlem Shop, Midway Shop and Rosemont Shop are missing. That's almost $100 of books and shipping gone (from your union dues).

If you borrowed them, please put it back. If you want to keep it safe, put a sign telling others where to get it. If you know of a mismanager that trashed it, tell me directly.

Better yet, BUY ONE and share it. We need multiple copies around. Although I intend on replacing them, my funds are very limited. 

I was hoping to bring copies to Terminals and stockrooms, but this forces me to put that off. 

No, these are not published by our union. President Pennie McCoach says she would rather spend the money we approved for printing on an “app.” 

Whatever. 

The money was probably blown on softball teams, banquets and trips. 

So the Chicago Transit Justice Coalition published it from Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) files and I am buying them with the extra money I receive as a union rep. 

There is also a Bylaws Book available at-cost.
