When The Election Is Over…

Neither has said nothing about Puerto Rican voting rights
Trxmp is a bumbling, raunchy salesman of defective merchandise in brand new shiny boxes for those of us who want something better than the status quo.

Kxmala is a clever, popular TV show “doctor” with a non-invasive, instant anesthetic who your boss recommends after complaining about working conditions.

One openly boasts about not paying overtime and breaking strikes. The other talks about the need for collaborating with the same greedy corporations to preempt strikes and reduce homelessness.

When it comes to the billionaire bloodsuckers of the poor, they are staunch loyalists

When it comes to the rest of us, they are not committed.

They want you to vote and hope.

They want you to believe that the victory of one over the other will defeat Satan.

Yet they both worship Satan in secret.

It is evident in their words and actions.

They DO NOT WANT you to organize general strikes. They DO NOT WANT education, housing and healthcare to be a RIGHT for all who live here. Any benefits for us will actually benefit the corporations who pay for their elections.

This is what they want: War and more war. Endless exploitation of human labor and natural resources.

The politicians love to play fight at our expense
They will destroy the Earth for profits and call it “freedom.”

Regarding Puerto Rico, neither of them will advocate for the residents to have a right to vote for president and congress. They definitely do not want Puerto Rican independence!

Yeah, one may execute us with greater mercy than the other. They have shown us that they both serve one master.

Guest blogger Grease Monkey D. Dragon, said it best to me in text message:

Kamala is ready to rob our house and leave us a little bit to survive on, but Trump wants to rob our house of everything, then burn  it down, and while we lay homeless in the street, Donald and his fraternity of Joe Rogan Klansmen will piss on us, and call us suckers.

Then my son reminded me about the farce we are hamstrung by in U.S. electoral politics: The Electoral College

Electoral politics are a tool for maintaining a society. But it is not the way for establishing true freedom, justice and equality in that society.

After November 6th, politicians will still be owned by our corporate overlords. Puerto Rican residents still won't have a right to vote. Puerto Rico will continue to be called an island of garbage by white supremacist comedians who visit while on vacation.

Vote for who you want. When this election is over, don’t go back to sleep. But you had better understand that they will do nothing to help you if you don't organize for mass action to force them to give it to you

In this article, the stand I take is of my own. It is not necessarily the opinion of the ATU—as an organization or of other members.
