Getting Stronger and Stronger

One year in as the most-hated, most-feared and most-annoying union rep at the CTA has taught me much. CTA mismanagers are learning too. 

They are learning that I am not the average union rep who they can rely on for support. In fact, I am totally unreliable to them. 

I am also a formidable opponent who is becoming skilled in realms of knowledge and intellectual combat which they struggle to comprehend. 

Every time they try to extinguish my Light, I come back with stronger Light. 

Should the God permit me to live longer—and win the position of Local 308 president—the enemies of CTA workers will face an opponent unlike anything they could imagine. 

Don't mistake that for bragging about myself. The opponent I describe is the collective power of the membership in our union. People who are stronger, wiser and braver than me.

I look forward to the battles that come—and the eventual liberation of ATU Local 308 from CTA control.
