Unethical Ethics Training for CTA Workers!

UPDATE (7/11/2025): I received confirmation that coworkers in Operations and Stations are being paid for TWO HOURS. Not 30 minutes. Please use that revised number!

The Cheap Transit Authority is up to their nickle-and-dimming of the hard-working Maintenance Department workers again. It's that time of year: Ethics Training.

Imagine that: An employer that violates our Contract every day is going to teach us about ethics! Then they unethically pit workers against each other by only paying some of them for doing the training!

Anyway, you need to get paid for it. 

If you aren't paid for it, file a grievance. I submitted mine today. Feel free to use mine as a template. Access grievance forms for Local 308 and Local 241 at the Chicago Transit Justice Coalition.
