Did You Take OTC Medicine? Be Careful!

Report those meds so you don't miss out on work!
Are you experiencing cold or flu symptoms? Allergies? A headache?

Have you taken Over-The-Counter remedies?

Did you know that if you are drug-tested and they find something suspicious, they can take you out of service?

According to the Contract (excerpt below), you have to report what you are taking.

Know the Contract when it's about medicine you take!
I recommend that comply by filling out a Report to Manager form from the manager or clerk at work and write this:

As per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Attachment GA-1, Part III, Section A, Subsection 2, I am reporting that I am using [brand and medication name] to treat post-nasal drip symptoms while on-duty.

Then make a copy, turn it in and reply to this email with a scan or photo of it. Send it to a trusted union representative too.

Finally, if you haven't done so yet, please sign my petition for Paid Sick Leave too.
