Spy or Adoring Fan?

They are watching me because I am their biggest threat
On September 13th, the Facebook gods notified me that I have new follower: ATU Local 308 Attorney, Anita (Hersh) Tanay

I suspect she is working on building a case to stop the current president from being replaced by me. There is absolutely no other reason why a person we pay $200,000+ from our union dues to follow me.

She has been President Pennie's ghost-writer when trying to remove me from office, overturn a Pick vote and dismiss my exposé of the CTA mismanagement's now-delayed plan to lay us off.

It is hard for them to defeat me on arguments regarding the ATU Local 308 Bylaws and Constitution—not even her.

I am the ONLY Executive Board Member with the boldness and knowledge to debate the attorney in the Executive Board (Bored) Meetings. I have no fear of her either. She has become so frustrated with my questioning, refusal to concede to her pro-CTA mumbo-jumbo and ferocious objection to her persistent defense of terrorists at CTA headquarters, that she simply refuses to respond.

They will not be able to find any of the usual hits for corruption or sexual misconduct on me. But the attorney has the “pull” they need in their attempts to possibly discredit me to the members on other things.

It won’t be easy for them because I am so resilient. But everyone knows that when others quit, I keep going!

She knows that the next 12 months will determine whether Local 308 will have a chance to be free from CTA control or not.

The number one duty for the ATU Chicago presidents—and their CTA attorneys—is to crush any chance of a strike.

They know that if members take control of the union, the chances for strikes are exponentially greater than with the usual business union boss agents.

As boldly stated to me by Local 308 Vice President Mark Weems a few months ago, they will “do everything” in their power to prevent me from becoming the Local 308 president.

Attorney Tanay is one of their weapons to defeat me and abort the birth of Revolutionary Unionism at ATU Local 308.

I welcome her scrutiny, wizardry and the challenge for the soul of our union.

If I win, I hope to get the members' approval to immediately terminate her contract with us.
