10 Traits of a CTA Mismanager
1. Listen for ways to discredit the worker's concerns, complaints or suggestions.
2. Make fun of a worker's concerns or personality traits.
3. Ask the worker if they are done yet or tell them it should not take so long.
4. Offer help with the intention of writing them up for "Poor Work Performance."
5. Threaten them with punishment during a moment of difficulty and don't excuse their absence when they provide documentation.
6. Confuse the worker with contradictory or made-up rules.
7. Deny the worker's request for documentation of procedures or other work related information.
8. Make excuses to not provide a worker training when they request it.
9. Burn the worker out and punish them if they doze off or call off sick.
10. Retaliate with punishment or "reasonable suspicion" drug testing when the worker complains about something.
