Refuting The False Charges: Pennie's Unimportant Message

President Pennie titles her video an “Important Message.”

Think about that for a few seconds.

 

What is an “Important message”?

Our Contract has expired. The mismanagers are violating the Contract and labor law DAILY. We are being punished mercilessly when getting sick or injured. We don’t have tools and equipment we need. Second Chancers are being laid off while the CTA whines about manpower shortages.

• We need 33% raises and Paid Sick Days!
• We need Full-Time Jobs For All!
• We need Two-Person Crews!
• We need Brick and Mortar Bathrooms!
  
• We need stewards for every shop/terminal and every shift!

But her FIRST video to the members is about false charges against an ELECTED union leader who actually endorsed her, but has philosophical differences that she and Shadow President Weems cannot tolerate?

She doesn’t even have the decency to read her script at camera level or use that $169,000 salary to buy a teleprompter!

Can’t even look us in the eye?
