Understanding Your CTA Vision Benefits

From time to time, members reach out to get clarification about vision benefits. 

Is it available for Part-Time (PTT & FTT) workers?

Yes.

Is there a separate card for it?

No. If you are enrolled—you will action see the line Vision Yes on your myCigna.com CTA benefits card (see image).

If you are not enrolled, do it as soon as possible. This other article explains how to enroll. 

You can use the card anywhere that accepts Cigna Vision insurance. So shop around and ask before making an appointment. Cigna's provider directory website may be useful to you. Search for Optometrist or Eye Doctor by zip code in the drop-down menu. 

The benefits now cover dependents as well. That change occurred in 2022.
