Subpoena Stupidity

The CTA mismanagement has misused a court subpoena—in a case that has nothing to do with me—to request the past two years of email and text message communication between me and another union worker at the CTA. 

Moreover, this case is not criminal in nature and it involves a coworker who is fighting CTA mismanagement without any support from the union presidents!

By making such an error regarding confidentiality, the CTA mismanagement has chosen to break the trust between elected pro-worker union officials like me and union members. It also discourages CTA workers to use legal means to fight injustice.

I have initiated steps to expose—and hold responsible—the mismanagers who are hellbent on destroying me and the coworkers who seek my assistance.
